About the Artist
I am a self taught artist living in Florida with my rescue animals, at present totaling 8 cats, 2 dogs and 2 parrots. I basically consider myself a wildlife/animal artist excelling in realistic animal paintings, capturing the heart and soul of the animal in their wonderful expressions. I also paint landscapes, abstracts and florals. Being very concerned with nature and the protection of wildlife, animal rescue and preservation of natural habitat, some of the proceeds from the sale of my work are donated to such organizations.
I am a juried member of EBSQ+ and have had paintings used on calendars, sold paintings in the USA and Europe. Recent awards have been: Special Recognition from Light Time Space Gallery in March 2011 Botanicals, "White Orchid" April 2011 Cityscapes, " French City Street" May 2011 Nature, "African Lightening" 2012 issue of "Culture" Magazine will contain a painting, "Mangrove Egret." Awarded Members Mention for flower of the month, Lilaceae, EBSQ , May 2011 " Water Lilly" Awarded Members Mention for "Uncertain" exhibit, EBSQ, May 2011 for "OH OH" Awarded Clouds award for "Uncertain" exhibit, EBSQ, May 2011 for "OH OH" Commissions and specific inquiries are welcome.
